Supporting The Community

St. Luke’s is part of the communities we serve, and we want to help make them better places to live and thrive. That’s why we give back—through millions of dollars in unreimbursed services, care, and investments; through Community Health Needs Assessments, which pinpoint and assess the most critical healthcare needs in our communities; and through financial support to like-minded community organizations. Discover how we’re giving back to your community.

Community Benefit Reports

St. Luke’s is committed to your health, and to the health of your community. We give back millions of dollars each year through unreimbursed services, charity care, capital investments, and community services and programs. You’ll find a full explanation of these services in our Community Benefit Reports. Read on to discover what we’re doing in your area.

Community Health Needs Assessments

We use the Community Health Needs Assessment, or CHNA, to better understand the specific challenges facing the people and families we serve. Each CHNA helps us pinpoint and assess the most critical health needs in our communities, and we use that information to develop health improvement programs, provide better care at a lower cost, and define and guide our operational and strategic plans.

Applying for a Grant or Sponsorship

St. Luke’s Community Health Improvement funds provide financial support to organizations or groups working to improve the health and well-being of people in our region. We annually accept requests for funding, which must meet specific criteria.
