Description

Back to sleep, tummy to play is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, but many newborn to pre-crawling infants struggle with tummy time.This 90-minute class will introduce: tricks to help babies enjoy tummy time, infant massage tips for stimulating or soothing, techniques to nurture babies' body and brain development for sensory motor success, and activities and environments to help baby thrive, as well as those to avoid.

Prerequisites

This class can be taken before or after delivery. If you have already delivered, please bring your baby (newborn up to 4 months old) with you to class. 100% payment is due at time of registration.

Registration Instructions

Registration is required. Please note that if there are less than 5 people enrolled in the class, the class may be cancelled. You will be notified before the class if this occurs. No refunds are given for this class, unless it is cancelled by us or a medical condition prevents you from attending class. Otherwise, you may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.

    During this one night class, you’ll learn all of the basics and “how tos” of caring for your newborn. We’ll cover comforting, diapering, bathing, feeding, cord care, and sleeping. We’ll also discuss immunizations, circumcision for boys, jaundice, and car seats. A guest physician will drop by for a portion of the class to answer any of your baby care questions.
